Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently transforming educational spaces around the world through its development of personalized learning systems and AI-based tutoring systems and understand student emotions. The educational system currently lacks essential components for proper implementation because there are remaining deficiencies in teaching methods and ethical oversight and the establishment of teacher responsibilities and the execution of equitable educational practices especially in areas with limited resources. This study evaluates AI effects on education through a review of existing research that explores AI-based educational opportunities and challenges and their various contextual aspects and it creates a comprehensive framework for responsible AI implementation across different educational environments. The research performed a qualitative systematic literature review and conducted thematic content analysis to review peer-reviewed articles which they collected from Google Scholar through purposive sampling; eight research gaps were identified and mapped to corresponding hypotheses, with validity ensured through source triangulation and transparent inclusion criteria. The analysis showed that AI systems focus on technical abilities instead of developing instructional materials and that organizations lack sufficient ethical standards for data protection and security frameworks and the educational system requires teachers who can assist students through their studies while providing instructional support and students from developing countries face significant obstacles that stop them from using AI technologies. The educational system currently lacks standardized evaluation methods while educational institutions face challenges because educators and students lack basic understanding of AI concepts and AI systems are unable to provide human-level emotional assistance and organizations depend on their operational regulations and organizational systems for sustainable development. The research results back the proposed Pedagogical-Ethical-Contextual Model which shows how AI should be integrated into educational environments through its three connected dimensions. The educational system needs artificial intelligence to support teaching activities because it delivers essential human connection skills which machines cannot replace.
